|Duties:||Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and machine repairs in a manufacturing environment. Must have at least 2 years maintenance experience on a manufacturing environment or an equivalent degree and willingness to learn, share and apply knowledge. |
Duties will include:
Perform different levels of mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance on equipment such as ovens, wrappers, mixers, depositors, etc.
Investigate and troubleshoot equipment failures and faults.
Address down time issues promptly and efficiently.
Maintain housekeeping standards.
Perform daily rounds, ensuring that all equipment in operation is in good working condition and equipment not being used is turned OFF properly and document all findings accordingly.
Complete daily reports on mechanical Down Time, labor, and Preventive maintenance.
Order parts needed for preventive/reactive repairs and projects.
Ensure that safety rules and safe work procedures are being followed by themselves and by others working in and around the machinery.
Follow all safety procedures such as Lockout/Tagout, PPE, MSDS, etc.
|Qualifications:|| Qualified candidates must be immediately available for full time employment. |
High School diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years maintenance related manufacturing experience or equivalent degree.
Ability to work on a team environment.
Understand/speak Spanish is a plus.
Must be computer literate.
Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Climb ladders and stairs, and stand for continuous periods of time.
Ability to work on weekends, holidays and OT.
Ability to work on a hot, noisy, and high volume machine production area following safety practices.
Ability to change with the constantly changing demands of production.
Must possess basic maintenance tools such as wrenches, Multimeter, screwdrivers, sockets, wire strippers/crimpers etc.
Must be able to read drawings, ladder logic and posses skills needed to troubleshoot with little or not documentation.
Must be able to operator forklift, scissor lift, and pallet jacks.
Knowledge on AC & DC circuits, high voltage (480)
Experience in industrial wiring and the ability to read and follow wiring schematics.
Ability to make low and high voltage repairs to all building electrical equipment. This includes troubleshooting, installation and repair of 110/220/480 volt single and multiphase electrical circuitry and devices.
Experience in related building equipment and trades, such as air handling units, plumbing and steam fitting, fire systems and conveyors.
Knowledge on PLC electronic/computer controls.
